We have cultivated our products through many efforts of trial and error to ensure they meet the high standard our valued customers deserve.
Before Raw Welsh Honey was thought of, we decided to keep honey bees as we felt that they were under pressure not only from without (pesticides and modern farm practices) but also from within (“Varroa Destructor” a honey bee parasite that was inadvertently imported into the UK in 1992). Since its introduction there are almost no wild colonies of honey bees in the UK.
Raw Welsh Honey is committed to selling high quality, natural products which are kind to the environment and minimize the negative impact to the planet. Recycled materials are a key factor in our sustainable solution.
We want to live in a way that betters our planet and believe in maintaining the balance between human activity and natural processes. That is why our products are focused on improving the health of the global ecosystem.

We are beekeepers who keep bees at several apiaries across South Wales.
Our Online Sustainable Goods Store was born from a desire to use the produce of our honey bees to provide sustainable natural products at affordable prices. Any profit made goes towards supporting the welfare of our bees.
Years ago we started using the beeswax to make wax wraps for food in an effort to cut down on plastic waste (cling film is one of the worst plastics for the environment)
We then started using the wax to make skin cream for our grandson who suffers with Eczema. Subsequently this morphed into cosmetics, which we gave to friends and family, until one of those friends who owned a shop asked us to allow them to offer them for sale. The demand has increased beyond our wildest dreams, with shops now approaching us, asking to stock our products.
