Raw Welsh honey

We’ve managed to get a few more Manuka plants that we are planting around the apiaries. I have no idea what effect it will have on the honey, but the bees seem to love them!

Our honey isn’t treated or pasteurized. It is simply passed through a course strainer, so it contains particles of health giving pollen and propolis.

We store the honey from each super (box that bees store honey in) separately. The bees can fill one of these boxes in a week when conditions are right. This means that each box can taste and look different to the next,depending on what nectar the bees were gathering at that time.
It’s like a snapshot of that moment in time last summer!
Our honey is 227g net weight.
